Scripture Union is responsible to God and to our faithful donors to be good stewards of the funds provided for the work the Lord has called us to accomplish.

“Moreover it is required in stewards that one be found faithful.” 1 Corinthians 4:2

As part of that responsibility, we believe that we also have a duty to minister to our donors by helping them formulate good stewardship decisions as they make gifts to Scripture Union. This is the purpose of our Stewardship Ministry.

Depending on your particular financial situation, giving cash may not always the best plan of stewardship for you. There are many other ways to give that can sometimes allow donors to save more in taxes and utilize those savings to give more or simply to reduce the cost of their gift; thereby, enhancing their stewardship by having less money go to taxes.
